In this series we use specially designed SSR along with Delta PLC and HMI for nozzle zones. One has to set 0-100% for heating the nozzle and the output of the SSR is not the ON and OFF pulses but the voltage supplied to the nozzle is controlled from 0 V to 230V. The °/0 setting is through the ( Colour touch screen display)HMI. The manifold zones are controlled by Delta PID controller with built in indication of current of each heater on HMI ( Colour touch screen display). Here also the heater supply voltage is varied from OV to 230V instead of conventional ON-OFF PID control and this results in to precise temperature control and longer heater life.
